39 Cadillac clock glass-"Found One"

I'm still looking for the glass that is on the dash in front of the clock.
One from a LaSalle would also work.

The glass with the numbers is OK. It's the curved glass in front of the one with the #'s that is broken.

Are you certain there is a curve in this glass?  The reason I am asking is that I have a '40 Cadillac, no curve, but panel underneath and shine on glass gives appearance of a curve.  For my unit, a piece can be cut at any glass shop because the glass is flat.  I'm not sure how curved glass could fit in the housing, unless it is bent and has ears on it for mounting.  Perhaps yours is the same and you just need a piece of ordinary flat glass?  Ed Buliavac

Thanks Ed,
On the 39's the glass is definitely curved and so is the radio and speedo glass (the clock face with the numbers and the radio glass with the numbers are flat and go behind the curved ones). The glass is mounted between two formed pieces of sheet metal with tabs and two holes, then it fits in a chrome rectangular bezel that has two studs that go through the holes in the glass frame and fastens to the dash.
My clock glass was cracked when we bought the car. I cracked the radio glass when I took the dash out to refinish. I found a replacement glass for the radio area but no luck with clock glass yet. All three are different sizes.

Yes the 39 has curved glass, one year only and very rare. My radio is cracked but clock and speedo ok. I was told they made them by slicing a big cylinder. Some one  should be able to that nowadays?.
Even thought about to have it done with pexi glass, but never got around it.

I would go with a piece of Plexi-glass Lou. I don't think anyone would ever know. Its not like it would be rubbed often like a screen.
