Parts book shows 593 6053 as same part number for 1941,1942,1946 and 1947 Fog Lamp Switch.    Bill

Thanks Bill, I must have a different printing of Cadillacs of the 40's as I did not find it in mine but I did find it in the authenticity manual and according to that you are correct and thats why I am looking for one now.

Dam Gary, I was sure I had one still with its bracket but I cant find it, must have given it away years ago, you would have been welcome to it.  I collected another 41 yesterday with Fog lights and thought you could have had that switch but sadly they were after-market lights and not the proper switch. Sorry.  I seem to have found an abundance of the fog light rims amongst my junk though!
