In stock Cadillac land this is known as a 68-78 Eldorado pan.     The 68-69 472 had a smaller pickup tube than the 70-76 '5200' block 472 / 500 and 77-78 425. 

For those that are curious the 68-76 rwd cars used a pan that had the sump in the front.  77 with the downsizing they moved it back to a more normal GM rear position.  The reason most people without Eldos want the 'eldo' pan is to fit a caddy motor in a car that may or may not have even had room for a small block chevy motor.  Most of the larger swaps (like trucks) work with the 77-81 pan.
