Anyone know the correct diameter for the generator air intake hose on a/c cars? I have a short piece of 2.5" duct hose that seems a bit loose, although that size would probably be ok with clamps.  So I was figuring the correct size would be 2.25"  But the only specific listing I can find for  a hose for this purpose (a Cadillac parts vendor specifically listing a cloth hose for 58-62 generators) lists it as 2.5"

I'll measure a hose for you.  Might be a few days.

Thanks, Brian. I'm hoping I can use 2.25" as I have an A6 compressor, and space is tight due to modified plumbing.
