Jon,

You should rotate them to the correct orientation in your source - (computer) - files before posting them.

Ralph -

They are on my iphone in the correct orientation but get flipped 90 degrees when attached. An Apple glitch?  Can I reorientate them after posting?

Jon : It all depends on how I hold my Iphone when I take a picture. I hold the Iphone horizontal and the pictures when posted are OK but when I hold the phone vertical for a picture the picture sometimes is on its side. This may be your problem.    Bill

Jon,

I was afraid you were going to say you start from your phone. Sorry can't help. I down load copies of phone pics to computer files for editing and organization.......Phone savvy not so much

iPhones have an easy to use photo editor. Here's are the basics: http://www.imore.com/how-to-crop-straighten-rotate-photos-iphone-ipad#rotate

ps. I often use the editor on my phone these days more than the photo editors on the desktop, as you have the basics for adjusting light, taking out shadows, color, cropping, straightening/rotating, etc.

Jason -

Good information.  My problem was the pictures were right side up in the phone but posted at 90 degree on the Forum.  I'll try using landscape as opposed to portrait orientation in the future.

Thanks again!
