Hello, I am Bjarne. Located in Norway.
As Bruce posted some pictures of his rust repair on a 1971 Eldorado a couple of threads ago, I will try to share a couple of mine. I ordered a couple of repro floor pans from Caddy Daddy, and I think these are Classic2Current products.

This is the progress so far.

G'day Bjarne,

I thought my floor was bad, but boy, yours is a lot worse.   But, I see that the sub-structure is still good.

Putting up a few more pictures. As it is now I'm almost ready to begin stitching it up. Have some tectyl to clean and waiting for the primer inside the sub frame to dry.

Started stitching up the patient, but need more welding gas for the next step.

Some more pictures. Ready to start making the curvature at the rear of the panels.

Making some steady progress. I has been a few rainy days, keeping up the work when weather is dry.

Slow and steady wins the race, and taking time gets it done.   Looking good.

wow, very nice work!
Keep us posted.

The floor board of my Caddy is also rusted away quite badly. However, I think only on the driver side. Some day I will have to this job too!
Thanks for mentioning the company Classic2Current - I have never heard from them before.

Best regards,
Nicolas

Well, thanks for the feedback. I'm on my way of wrapping up the project and park it a gargage for the winter. My plan is to continue the welding at the rear section on next summer. Having some issues with leaking fuel tank and old hoses to fix before putting it away. Really happy I got as far as I did, as it means less work for next year.  I'll put up the latest pictures for now, finished painting front section and picture from the underside.

You could buy the panels directly from Classic2Current, but I bought mine from Caddy Daddy as they had a better deal on the shipment.
