Has anyone seen this collection?  Is it still in tact? Has the CLC hosted an event there in recent years? It appears to be well worth a visit, if one had the chance. See items 38 through 48.

I have been there many times.  The Motor City Region has our crank down event there on Nov. 4, so if you make contact, and pay, come on over.

I have been there with my Avalanche group.  Well worth the time to see all the great cars and trucks.

I went there as a tour when attending the 2002 GN at Dearbourn.   One of the many highlights of that GN.

They had to drag me away or risk missing the bus.

Bruce, What I did on that tour was slip off by myself and go to the "Y" Job and press my forefinger on top of the LH window glass run, just to be able to say I'd touched it, however fleetingly. (When I was young and had Tootsie Toy cars to play with, I had always wondered why they made a Buick without a rear seat.) It took me years  (and growing up) to find out that for slush cast toys, that the car was quite accurate. (Except for the yellow and light green paint they used for it in the late 1940s. I think the one I have now is red.)

Just FYI for those reading these posts.

It's my understanding that the Heritage Center is not open to the
public but visits are approved only on request from certain organizations.

For example, our CLC Board did tour the facility some years ago
(as Barry described) but this was approved in advance and our guide
was Greg Wallace, Director of Cadillac Archives.

Therefore, don't stop by there and expect to be able to tour the facility.
