I have a 1938 hupcap for a 75 willing to sell for BO or trade for a 1937 series 50 full cap. This is for the larger wheel and will not work on the 60's. The middle ring was rubbed up against something. Other than that it just needs chrome. Also another medallion with all four tabs.

Is this for the sixteen inch wheel or smaller?

There were no "smaller" wheels in that year. All 16".

They are for the V8's. The center where they snap in is longer
Because the V16 had wider rims. I sold the only one i had for the
V16. I have 2 left for V8.

V-16 hubcaps are completely different. See attached picture. Wheels for 38-75 (also 39 and 40) series V-8 and 90 series (V-16) are identical.  The 38-75 V-8 hubcaps (wheel disc in proper Cadillac talk) look the same as small series cars but since the wheel hubs are different between 75 and small series cars the hubcap internal structure is different.  All 3 years (38-40) V-16 hubcaps are identical.  39 and 40 both big and small series V-8's had a hubcap of similar appearance to the V-16 but had a different diameter emblem so different there and the 75 and small series car continued being different due to the hub being bigger on the big series cars.

So it's a LaSalle wheel cover you need Dave?  I have a pile of old rusty ones I can look through if you can post a picture.

Thanks for clarification Brad. I knew there was a difference and thought only the 16's had the difference. I didn't think the 75 would have been different from the small series. . The two I have are for the smaller series.

I am still keen to hear how much for the two for the smaller series. I planned on using them on my 39 Sixty special custom. Can you post a pic of both please.

Sorry took so long. The weather has not been cooperative. The one with the medallion was rubbed up against something, but I know it can be fixed. The other is not bad one little ding. Both would need to be chromed.
