What is this mount for?

Hello all,

This is a picture of a mount and a wire harness mount just below it, it is on the drivers side next to trunk opening, you can see the gas filler tube housing in the background.

Jason, if your talking about that flange in the middle left of the picture........that's where the drivers side trunk cardboard is screwed to.

That piece of trunk card board is screwed to a couple of flanges as it heads back to the lid hinge.

Odd I don't have the same mount on the other side, doesn't look there was at all.

That cardboard may have to have been a different shape to wrap around the fuel filler pipe so hence the extra support?
