Hi All, New to the forum.Just picked up a 1960 black Fleetwood. All original with 58,000 miles.
Question I have is the accelerator pedal keeps falling off.Does this attach to a bracket at the floor with a rod that goes thru the fire wall?

The Tassie Devil(le)

There are two screws/bolts that fasten the pivot point to the floor, with the lever passing through the floor, which attaches to the rod that operates the throttle.

Sounds like something is broken.

Looks like the pedal where it attaches to the pivot bracket was come apart. Not sure who it is attached   Can it be welded?
