It is a beautiful car, I give him that much.

He is asking more than market value for that model,
but then again, he does have the "make an offer"
button available.

Looking at some of the recent sales (think about those
'59 Eldorado rusted junkyard hulks) I guess anything is
possible.

He also says in the description, do not bother to offer less than 50K.

Plus he bases his asking price on all the money spent on the car. So what if he spent a million on it. That is irrelevant.

But you can ask what you want.

Sounds to me like he wants to sell but trying to minimize his loss.

Even at $50K, he's got a long uphill climb ahead of him.

It is a gorgeous car.  Love the seats.  But not together.  Just looks wrong.

Overspending on a restoration doesn't mean you will get the money back on resale.

Sounds like a quality restoration with many NOS parts, but if he expects top value he should have put the original seats back in it.   People who are willing to pay top dollar for a perfect car want it, well,  perfect.  And stock.
That's a lot of money for a car with non-working A/C and a Radio Shack power antenna.

Good luck to him and I hope he beats whatever health crisis he is facing.

He should have offered it here first to us for $100k.

Nice car but the seats are from a 1970's Cadillac. They should be the original high back 1969 seats with Ostrich grain leather. I owned one of these in 1975 in Palmetto green.

Guess I sold mine way too cheap - and mine was detailed to higher level!   >:D

He does mention the seat change but says it is Concours quality.  Thankfully the original seats are available. Nice color for sure.

Those white seats look like they are from a different era, which they are, so I am not sure how he felt that was an improvement.

Bob Hoffmann CLC#96

He just knocked $50K off the price. Go get it boys!!! LOL!!!

Bob, he put the original seats back in. He states that is the reason he dropped the price. Gee, hope you have some 1977-1978 Eldorado seats in the vault. You would be sitting on a gold mine. The surcharge for those Eldoado seats was the reason the price was so high.  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
