1939 la salle wiring diagram

Does anyone have a good wiring diagram for a 1939 4-dr touring sedan?  I don't trust the one in the reproduction manual I purchased online is accurate.

As the repro books are only scanned copies I can't see how they would be different except for poor quality?

In these early years and in this case 39 for sure you need more than the wiring diagram.  They did not put the wire size and colors on the wiring diagram.  The have the wire size and colors in various drawings in the electrical section of the shop manual.  They show the back side of the dash with this information along with the light switch, VR and Horn relay.  This was with a quick look.  There may be more.  These are on pages 108,112, and 113.  Best to get an original shop manual which has the clearest printing.  It is a very minor expense in doing anything on these cars.

For what it is worth I use a company at:

they are at 917+861-9131

They take the original wiring diagram, print it out in 11.5" by 8.5" format. They then color all the wires to close to the original color. Then they seal it in plastic. The cost is  a littler over $20.00.

This old fat guy likes these since he can read the wiring diagram (did I say with bad eye site) easily. I can then follow the wires since they are colored and larger.

I have purchased diagrams for my 37 LaSalle, 49 Cadillac, 53 Cadillac, and the 56 Cadillac.
