I am currently putting together the top on a 1948.  My question is regarding the stainless which holds the upper window seals.  The front most pieces over the drivers window have two dents in them.  Both driver and passenger side.  Is this factory or has someone done this to prevent the rubber from falling?  photos attached

As Steve says they are not factory and I would use a pliers and straighten the dents out
