For sale in New England is a 1956 Pink Cadillac Sedan De Ville with original paint, runs. It has some airbrushing, hot pink pinstripes, and one etched window of a diner waitress. Headlights point and work, 365 rebuilt engine with hot pink valve covers, chrome around power windows, which all open. White hardtop. Fixing this baby up a bit more now, and will repost when ready to list, but message if you might be seriously interested.

It seems that the car will need a complete restoration, just by looking at those pictures. The price your father was originally asking i obviously too high.

Agreed.  A 4 door sedan in the condition it appears to be in --- maybe 1/2 the $20,000 asking price.
