 Guys, other then on the engine, is there a body location for the VIN on a 1950 model 62? Ron

Yes, top of the frame rail, passenger side, just under the generator. Usually hard to see because of grease and grime. If the engine is original to the car, the engine and frame numbers should match. The image below is for 1952, but the 50 is the same.

Thanks Paul, I see it. Just got home from out of town. The undercoating made it illegible. BTW, it's a match.
