I have created a new photo album on our 1963/64 Cadillac Facebook Page and started loading Cadillac & LaSalle pictures (including the one above) at this link:

Thank you Jason!  This is a large collection of GREAT photos. It's worth clicking on the link!

I was there yesterday when several of these photos were being taken. I was chatting with Steve Stewart who was helping oversee the official photographing. He told me that he has never seen a context for photos at a GN that were quite as ideal as this year at Lake George. I am writing this note at 6:30 a.m. Saturday, and the weather is still perfect. Quite a few cars arrived last night. The line at the car wash station at the Best Western was already long at 6:00 a.m.

It is a terrific experience to see so many Cadillacs from different eras side-by-side. It's even better to chat with the owners, hear their stories, and make some new friends. What a terrific event for the CLC!

Hello Jason

I had a great time in Lake George.  In addition to the great LaSalle automobiles I had the honor and privilege to work with wonderful people evaluating Judging Team 3 1942-1949 Cadillacs. Jim Cowin, Barry Cox and Paul Phillips I appreciate you guys very much.
All good men own a Cadillac but great gentlemen drive a LaSalle. That is the consequence of success.

Jason Edge

I took over 400 more pictures of 1910 to 1969 Cadillacs after judging and will pick thru and get more posted later. For now I posted about a dozen pictures from "Tail Fin Row' in a separate album located at https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.748830505140361.1073741862.121748834515201&type=3

These include the picture seen below:

YOUR THE MAN !!!

Without you and your camera a lot of us, who did not make it to the Grand National would be crying in our beer. You do an excellent job of capturing the cars and the events Of the Grand National. We live vicariously through your len. Keep up the good work.

Jason,  I am in Seattle and will try to get to Las Vegas in 2016 but your dropcam and photo album made it almost like being there at Lake George.   Thank you so much for sharing the experience with those of us who did not make it.

Thanks Gary, I did try and move my drop cam over to the main grassy show field early in the morning that Saturday but it was picking up different router WiFi and didn't have time to synch it up with the camera before having to run off to the judges breakfast. It would have been really cool to have 2 cameras: one over the lake with the limited older cars below and another over the large show fields. Maybe next year! LOL   I will be loading many more pictures later today.  je

I am working on sorting out and posting most of the car pictures I will want to post (the banquet, etc will have to wait), but have created an album for the 1963 & 1964 Cadillacs for our 1963/64 Cadillac Chapter. You can see these Cadillacs, of course my favorite as Director of the Chapter, including the picture below at this link:

The Tassie Devil(le)

You have to really love the '60 4 window Sedans.   The way the roof overhang compliments, and is complimented by the sharp angles of the tail fins.   Pity they never made a Coupe with that roofline.

Truly a work of art.   (Did Cadillac go downhill from then on with styling?)

Thanks, George. I have parsed out and posted 1959 to 1968 today. I'll  dive back into the picture files and post the 1910 to 1958 Caddies and LaSalle later.  I did not get many of the 1969 and later models other than a few aerial views. Hopefully someone captured the newer model Caddies!

Thank you Jason for your work in bringing the Grand National to these pages - both for those who couldn't attend as well as allow those that did to relive it.

The webcam was also an excellent idea.

Efforts like these are invaluable in promoting & maintaining the health and future well being of the CLC Organization.

Well done and keep up the good work!
