Greetings ,I am getting underway on a restoration of a '41 60s I picked this summer. I hope to post pictures as the project moves on. I have been dissembling it so I can work on the sheet metal getting them ready for paint. Marty Michaels
Marty,
Great undertaking - opps nothing to do with death - job
Remember those cars were made of real steel and you will need a big hammer - none of this 18 gauge metal of the 50's.
Good luck,
Steve B.
Marty, Sounds like a fun project with a worthy car. Keep us posted. Harry
I refinished the window sills, now i'm getting ready to wood grain the dash and glove box door. There is a lot less wood graining on the '41 than on my '47 I've been doing the last couple of years. Here is a picture of the steering wheel I will be using.
