Hello Jack,do a search on ebay for 1941 Cadillac,there is a guy who is selling a bunch of old generators that he found somewhere,you might get a good core to rebuild,i had mine done at a local parts store,they sent it away to be rebuilt,came back looking and working like new,cost about 250$,but well worth the money,i think you are better off buying one as a core as it would need to be checked out anyway.i would paste the auction,but i dont know how.
