Came across a pair of really nice headlights for  1931 Cad V8, V12, V16 at a garage sale today.
Anybody have any idea what they would be worth? They don't need chroming, looks like original glass, also with a set of replacement lenses.
Also let me know if you would be interested in a purchase, they might still be available.

John,
The V16 head lites are real big. Maybe almost 15". The V 8/12 are much smaller. BIG price difference. Need to know what they are & how much??

Too much fun is more than you can have.

Bob:
These are big, I didn't measure but 15" is a good ballpark size. At least a foot anyway.  They looked to be in really good shape, good chrome, lenses, etc. Any idea what they would be worth if they are 15"?

John,
Chris Cummings can probably help more than me. Both ID & value. If you want to PM me a price I'll help if I can. I'm not interested in buying them. bobscads@comcast.net

Well, I went out on a limb and bought these today. They are not 15", they are about 12" diameter. Lenses are intact with no cracks (as far as I can tell) chrome is pretty good, looks like a little polishing would be helpful. The Cadillac cloissone (?) emblems look pretty good also.
See photos......
I bought these to help out any club members who could use them, not looking to make any big profit. That said, I would like to get a fair market value, minus enough to make them a really good deal for a CLC member.
Would trade for a pair of really nice stainless rocker panel trims for my '55 CDV.
Responses welcome!!

Boy, they look very nice.   Makes me wish I had a car to fit them on.

Hi All:
In addition to the photos already posted, I have the items in the photos below. These have "Depress Beam" (?) on them and the lenses are in good shape.
I would sell the whole lot for $450.00 plus shipping.
Really hope somebody is interested!

32 Cad V12 CC

Your headlights and lenses are correct for 1931 Cadillac V8 & V12 only.

32 Cad V12 CC

Please pardon my prior post as I misspoke....Based on the Cadillac emblem at the top of the door, your headlights are not for 1931. Rather, if 12 inches overall, they are for 1929. If 13 inches overall, they are for 1930 V8 only.
