1956-58 Factory Original Gold Sabre Wheel Caps

I have a beautiful set (4) of original Gold anodized Sabre Wheel Caps. The center inserts are new. These are the correct factory color and hard to find in this shape. Asking $625.00 plus Free shipping in the USA only. If interested call  301-343-1463.

These are very hard to find in nice shape because they were aluminum.

These gold caps however,  are ‘correct’ for only 1956, the only year gold sabres were offered. The gold sabres conflict with front drums in 1957-8.

You are correct about the gold being only for 1956. However, since Cadillac had a plethora of gold wheels left over, they simply made a spacer for the wheel hub to accommodate the old wheel. I remember a  beautiful rose colored 1958 Eldorado convertible appearing at an Indy show in the late sixties or early seventies and we went "for shame" at the owner for having the wrong wheels. He promptly advised us of the spacers available and that the car came with gold wheels from Cadillac.
