Can’t seem to get air to blow out thru the vents or the ac middle cent.Any suggestions?

Dan LeBlanc

Yup.  Leaking vacuum pod will not open the door to admit air into the cabin.

Thanks. Would those be the pods located on firewall or are there some under dash.

Dan LeBlanc

They are all on the heater/ac cases on the firewall.  I believe one on the bottom is best accessed from beneath the car.

I do have a slight hissing coming from under dash on driver side when car is running. Would this have something to do with it?

Dan LeBlanc

Possibly, but that could also be automatic parking brake release or neutral safety switch as well.

Can the pods be bought and replaced? How do you know if one is bad. Thanks for all the info

Dan LeBlanc

Old Air Products has them new and they are best tested with a vacuum pump (one of those little hand operated ones)
