Will a 1976 harness work in a 1979??  Bruce Roe said he didn't know. Any help appreciated.
Thanks, Bob

Which car?   I could see Seville maybe working since the body didn't change in that period but there were other changes like cruise and level ride so under hood would not be identical.    The other cars had body changes in addition to those items so I would expect more differences there.

Guys,
I'll try to be clearer. The harness I'm talking about is the one on a Fuel Injection  engine that controls the injectors & other FI  items & plugs into the ECU. Mine is from a 76 Eldo  & the customer needs one for a 79 Deville. Both big block cars. Will it work?
Thanks, Bob

If that harness is separate from the rest maybe.   If its integrated I doubt it.   They made a lot of electrical updates between 76 and 79 not to mention the Eldo sitting off center and so far from the firewall.
