OK-- Here I go with the 48 photo report. This is set one. The car had been parked out in a field since the engine blew up. Taking the engine apart, there were a couple rats in the oil pan that had entered through the oil fill tube. That should give you an idea how the rest of the car looked. Finding good restorable pieces for a 1948 has  been quite a task. The authenticity manual and the Fisher Body were a must along each step of the way. And then also were the guys that helped with details. Ed Gunther has been a big help! That color Amherst Blue was important to get right. Not too much metallic like I see on some cars. And the Di-Noc Leather Grain interior trim was a slow difficult process.
