I sent my 68 eldo master cyl, to Cardone for remam.4 yrs. ago but they did not remove the rust track at the bottom of the bore, and its now leaking.  The Cardone #10 1420 is a shallow hole piston, needs deep hole. Could not find a rebuilt so I sent it to the shop in St. Paul Minn. for resleeving @ $60.00 and a kit, the kit is extra. Free return shipping.  They sound very compatent over the phone. Hope it works out. The shop is listed in the brake parts section of Hemmings, services.

Gday Viator,

Isnt it a bugger when something isnt done correctly and then the problem doesnt rear its ugly head until the watrranty has well and truly run out.
