The chrome hinge part is the only part I really need but will buy complete sun visor if necessary.

Brad, I can't go outside as yet as I'm waiting on a FedEx shipment that needs a signature. As soon as he comes, I'll go out and check. The "paddle" portion is "broken" but the attaching items you need should be OK. The one you need has the "thumb screw" chrome doodie on it, right?

I'll get a picture shortly but it is the style that has the small screw on it that tightens up on the rod on the sun visor itself. I would really like both sides but left base is needed for sure. If the other part that rotates is left and right which I believe it is to get the screw facing the right way I need a right for that part. These two parts are not meant to come apart but for chroming etc. they need to be separated. Not sure what you mean by the thumbwheel Barry. It is a standard screw that tightens up on it. 41 and newer have a different spacing on the base screws and the other parts are bigger also.

I checked when I went out to mow the grass, and it's probably a '41 and has the straight knob to tighten/untighten. Also, the base is broken off. Sorry.

The thumb wheel that Barry refers to Brad is 41 on and the visor can be unscrewed and pulled towards the centre of the car on its shaft if needed. Can you show what the screw spacing are?

the screw center to center on the longest leg is 1.375 inches and the other two are equal at 1.2 inches.

Sorry Brad, the one I found has much larger centres so must be for 41.
