Would it not have a 'Cadillac' or 'LaSalle' script on it in 1940 Brad?   I have a 1939 radio delete plate which has the Cadillac script on it. Did they leave them blank in 40?

Is that just the small chrome piece on the top?

Not my car.  Correct color would be Oxblood Maroon.  I guess we need to get back to the original question.  There are two blank out panels.  One is plastic and the other is chrome with the black stripes.  Which are you looking for?  Dan Whalan (contact info in Authenticity Manual) may still do the plastic ones.

My dash is same as that. I ordered the 75 series manual. I'll check it when it comes in for info.

I have a nice hole where the delete plate should be, does anyone have a lead on obtaining a delete plate.

Thank you
