Title: 39 series 60sa
Post by: Tod King on June 17, 2017, 09:11:55 AM
Was just wondering if anyone tell me something about the style number on my 39 caddy. I haven't gone to gm archive yet but I am planning on it. The style number is 39-6019sa. Also if you know what I need when I contact gm archive. It also has the Fisher body.

39 is the year of coarse.  60 is the series so that's 60 Special. 19 stands for 4 door body.  Someone will correct me if I'm wrong but I think all 60Specials were Fleetwood built.
GM archive require your engine number, This is usually the same as the chassis number.

The 60S changed to a Fleetwood body in 1940. 1938/39 were Fisher.
