Title: 60 Cadillac Begin again!
Post by: Brian Dowell on June 18, 2017, 04:42:46 AM
Been over a year but back on the 60 Cadillac. Thought we were really careful with all the nuts and bolts. We're do they run off to. Outside complete, working on interior.
Seats and door panels very dirty from sitting for 25 years. What's best way to clean. They are all white.
Brian and Bob Dowell. CLC 25297.

I would start with liquid dish soap and water (30% soap 70% water), use a spray bottle to apply and soft rag. Go over it a couple of times.

Keep at it! Sounds like the dirty work (body work) is over. Now the fun part of putting it all back together and seeing it again!
After the water/soap solution try a vinyl cleaner from McGuires or Griots. I had very good results on my 58 with it. Anxious to see pictures!
