HI GUYS:  I'm looking for a NOS fuel economy indicator switch for a 1975-1976 Cadillac de Ville but I do think it is the same part for all the caddys in those years including the Sevilles. I had my ad in E-Bay a while ago but to no avail; finally I found one through Hemmings from a fellow out in California.  I would prefer a new one if available because I have been through about five used ones and they could not do everything it was suppose to do.  So, if any you guys out there in the world know where I can find one I would appreciate it.  THANKS GUYS!  EAM

The fuel economy vacuum switches all look the same from 1975-80 but the part numbers varied over the years and the colors of the housings changed. The 75-76 (non Seville) were white with pt# 1607264. Other colors were blue and yellow.
other pt#'s were1608500, 1613879, 1616252, 1613886 depending on year and model.
The vacuum diaphragm inside is what usually fails.

Does anyone know where this fuel economy vacuum switch is located on a 1976 Cadillac Fleetwood?

It is mounted on the firewall, pretty much dead center. Has a vacuum line and an electrical connectors on it.
