Hello everyone. How do you remove the window knob off the crank so they can be rechromed? Also how can the knob be reinstalled on the crank? I figured I would ask before I done any damage before my attempts. Thanks for any replies... John Lehman... CLC # 26365... Drive the old Cadillacs carefully this weekend...

I had some things re-chromed on my car and i seem to remember that anything they didn't want chromed was taped off with a special tape, and didn't need to be removed. Don't take my word for it, talk to somebody at a chrome shop.
