"Cadillac Kid" Greg Surfas 15364

I'm working on a 1979 Paris". A conversion of a Coupe deVille to an "El Camino".  It was sitting out in North Texas for over 10 years, so needless to say I have got my dance card full.  In the process of cooling system repairs I found the pressed in angled water outlet for the heater in the right side cylinder head was shot.  I pulled it out, and I am wondering if anyone has any suggestions for either replacing the outlet fitting while the engine and head are in the car, or plugging that outlet. The motor runs well(425) so I don't want to pull it apart if I don't have to.
If I plug the head I can use the outlet under the thermostat like the early 472's .
Thanks in advance.
