Morning everyone. Have my ' 37 LaSalle 's steering box at the rebuilder. Says everything is worn out. Would like to buy a good used replacement. I hate to make this request but here goes... Has anyone done a rack and pinion swap or a different box with bracket ? Anyone might know of another box that will substitute without much fabrication ? Thanks for any ideas.... John C. Lehman ... Steering box' of 37 LaSalle and 36 Cadillac 85 are completely different animals sadly.
