I finally have my hands on a 1939 fleetwood 9033 body number 1.  The only thing it is missing is the engine. las i heard that the original engine is floating around in a coupe back east.  I know its a long shot but i am hoping that you or some one on CLC might have one or knows some one that has a V-16 for sale. or if some one could point me in the right direction. Thanks again for looking! any info would help!

Pack a lunch , Joey. Bob Smits has been looking for 20 or 30 years. And he is CONNECTED. He will stick a flathead V8 in his. Might be a good idea for you too. What shape is your car in ? Interior and exterior. if you have to do quite a lot of work , put a 500 in it with all the trimmings. Then you will be able to drive it. Where are you and the car located ? I can put you in second position for my '48 manual engine and clutch in case Bob goes another way. I hope you stumble across one , but how long do you want to wait ?   - Carl

Thanks carl! :) I had a feeling that was going to happen. for the most part the car is complete except for the motor and transmission. I actually have a spare 39  V8 motor and trans on the side that i can slap in for the mean time. but i didn't want to down grade the car. lol! I have been itching to drive it!! for the most part the car was in a barn for over 30 years and never had any modifications to the car. The only thing now is to find a transmission crossmember and I should be good. I still don't know how to upload pictures to the forum. But I definitely post some soon.
