I have a 54 331 in a 1950 S61.  Whatever 331 oil pan would work is what I need.  It doesn't need to be finished, in fact I prefer it not to be unless it has no dents and is painted in the proper cadillac blue from Hirsch paint.  Otherwise if it's rough, that's fine as long as it isn't cracked, or have holes,  or dents the size of baseballs.

1954 to 1960 pans have the same part number. I have one, removed from a 1959 engine, in good shape for $ 50.00. As I'm located in Switzerland, shipping costs may be rather expensive.

That is good info.  I will look for a part more local but will keep you in mind.  Thanks.

I fully understand you. Anyway, 2 pictures from the oil pan (in fact, I saw this afternoon that I have a second one!). It's not everyday that you see an oil pan on a Cadillac carpet!

Why is it yellow inside?  I am wondering what it would cost to ship to me......or how I would find out.

Most probably I let it sandblast. to protect it against rust, I painted it inside too. The paint has to be removed before installation. The next time I'm going to my store room, I will weight it; then I can tell a shipping price.

Shipping from Switzerland is expensive. If the box can be under 5kg, the shipping costs are $ 76.00 for priority or $ 57.00 for economy.
If the box is a tad above 5 kg, it goes to the next  price category, up to 10 kg: $76.00 in economy and $ 104.00 for priority.
I bet you are better to search in the US!

I've got a '58 pan off a 365, that should fit, but it's not great but is blasted.   Pay the postage.   Send me a message if interested and I shoot some pix.
