Hello,

Does anyone know where I can buy replacement interior light sockets that fit a 59 Cadillac?

Thank you for your time,

Any ideas on where to buy the little copper crimp connector inside the socket?

Dan,

You could re-use your existing ones, you drill out the crimped wire inside and re-solder the new one in. I do not trust the crimp by itself, I’ve always prefer to solder all my connections instead.   ;)

Or you can find the brass contacts here - > http://www.superbrightbulbs.com/connectors.htm

Good luck..!

I used to have plenty of trouble with the center bulb knobs maintaining
contact: the socket spring had relaxed.  I used some solder to build up
the bump on the bulb 1/32" or more, and the problem vanished.  Bruce Roe

Dan,
Frugal Freddie here - what is that all about.
Have you tried soaking the sockets in CLR (Calcium Lime Rust) remover-cleaner.
Wiping the brass ends of the bulbs works best - rather than submerging them to soak.
Just a thought.
Have fun,
