Looking for a good working POA valve for a 1970 deVille. Frigidaire 15-52 type, GM Part 5910594.

If you can't find one, I had mine rebuilt by Classic Auto Air in Florida about 3 years ago, it's still doing fine, cost was around $200.  The rebuild process did take the date off the POA (bead blasted), that was the only downside.

I did a quick internet search on them, not sure if they still do it or not or if they are still in Florida....but somebody should.

Thanks Chris. I'll keep them in mind. Not overly concerned with date codes. Function over form at this point.

Love this forum. A fellow CLC member reached out directly and has a NOS one. Never expected to find one that quick at a reasonable price.

Glad you found one Dan.  I've cot a couple here that I am sitting on since they will be my children's inheritance.

Me too. Now to piece together everything else. I'm more comfortable buying from a CLC member at a realistic price than an inflated eBay price.

I'd like to find a NOS expansion valve also before I resort to a new replacement. The capillary tube on the new ones are very long for a one size fits all application. I know I can leave the unused portion coiled up but it just looks odd.

Cap tubes are purposely long to dampen out pulses due to TXV operations.
