2002 DTS intermittent air cond/heat problem, intermittent.

took 600 mile trip thurs and fri.  with 2002 DTS 110,000 miles car that appears and functions as new otherwise.  Blower and aircondiioner comes on when it feels like it, or tonite it came on when I hit a bump.  Any ideas?

Hi, Tony, Dave Shepherd here, first I would try and check for any related TSB's, Sounds like a main input is loose or not making good contact.  Remember that system is controlled by the bcm. You need a starting point here, like a wiring diagram and or trouble tree chart.

Thank you David.  I  will take it to my local shop tomorrow, and have them do the diagnostic plug in?

The problem with the intermittent heater/AC function was  worn out connector ends on the blower motor.  Luckily, unit was  inop when I brought it in, and the wiggling movement at the ends provided a fairly rapid diagnosis and fix.
