What's under the tree for your Cadillac?

It's that time of year to surprise that special car in your life with something nice!

What is your Cadillac(s) getting?

I'd like to have "time" to work on it.  I have most of what I need with that one exception. And warm weather in the winter and cool weather in the summer.

Maybe I need a car cover for outside short term storage - overnights at hotels - able to be locked?.  Any recommendations?

I've requested veneer for the doors, a cheap remote unlock kit, rear airshocks and a cheap harbor freight welder.

See what turns up.

For me it's a 30lb sealed canister of R12 that I picked up for $135CAD

I don't think budget will allow me to buy anything for them this year, however it left something for me..... a few drops of 10w-30.
Oh well, maybe next year.

I’m hoping a rebuilt water pump for the ‘60 shows up in time to go under the tree. The ‘61 has asked for new shoes; the bias plies are hurting her feet and my nerves, but that is going to be more like an MLK Day gift.

That suggests that either you’ve got someone else buying gifts for your car, or that you stiff your mistress for Xmas.

David,

I wish someone would buy me gifts for my car, but alas, that will never happen.

As for the last part, I don't have a mistress and what I do ...........  doesn't only happen at Christmas.   Every day is Christmas here.  ;)   I suppose that is in the "too much information basket?" ;) ;)

Lets get this back on track.....I have a place reserved under the tree that hopefully gets filled with a replacement White Eagle gas pump globe for my ‘50’s gas pump that will sit next to my ‘59 Caddy

2 new WW tires are desperately needed for my baby 64, and possibly fixing a couple of rust spots on her as well before it spreads.

A Carb rebuild is coming up soon, not a ton of stuff to do, but expensive to say the least.

This time of year is always tough when it comes to our cars, with gift giving and spending time with family, our Caddys need the love too. :D :)
