I bought the Motor from a friend who bought a damaged 53 Sedan for the rear quarters to use on a custom project. Over the course of time paperwork was lost , it did come with receipts for a motor rebuild, not many miles before. It is complete down to the belts, however , with time it has stuck. I can’t separate the motor and trans as I can’t turn the flywheel and I’m not interested in undoing the rods. It will need to be picked up at my home near Tampa Fl. I would much prefer to sell it complete however will part it if I have to.  $1000 Thank you, Dave

These engines weigh in at 699 Lbs, and the transmissions have to be at least 500 Lbs.

I think that was tongue in cheek-a , turbo 400 weighs about -150 lbs., I believe the hydramatic is in the 250 lb range. I meant to post my phone number, 813-453-8962
Thanks, D. Varney

The combination is heavy, and I would have thought about 1,000 Lbs.

Don't forget that you have to add all the fluids, especially the Transmission Fluid, as the weights I mentioned I think were dry weights.
