Gday from downunda,

I have a great hood ornament of what looks like a flying man with a sort of helmet and his arms back in a sort of diving pose. I can provide a photo, but wondered what model and year it comes from and if anyone collects this type of thing especially downunda. It is chrome and in very good order and mounted on a polised timber plinth. It stands 5 inches high and 6 inches long and about 3/4 inch wide... cheers guys...

Sounds like a hood onrnament for a Mercury.

It indeed sounds like a Mercury but lets just dream and consider that it could be a Minerva. Send the photo to me? lasalle5019(AT)yahoo.com
