I just found out my front stabilizer bar is broken on my 1955 convertible.I have removed the bar.Is the car safe to drive,or will I even notice a difference?

Jack,

When my stabilazer bar broke on my 1956 Coupe deVille it was not that pleasant, car did not steer very well.

This bar makes a lot of difference in how the front end is stabalized, so my advice is find a new one. While changing the bar replace the stabalizer units at both ends.

Drop me note if you want the part numbers for the kits. The Stabilizer bar is a junk yard find, but they are the same for 54-56 and possibly more years.
