1951 Cadillac limo style end loader hearse built by Superior Coachworks in Lima Ohio. 1 of only 5 built in this configuration. 30,000 original miles. 331 V-8 with LaSalle 3 speed manual transmission. The coach was not built as a combination hearse/ambulance. This coach has an interesting history, first was believed to be ordered by the U.S. Navy, next was used as an ambulance by a local fire department, then went into a classic car collector's inventory for the last 36 years. Very solid & complete coach, always kept indoors. Missing nothing and has no exterior rot. Original rear interior intact & not shredded or falling apart, not even any rips in the headliner. Needs restoration such as paint, rebuild master cylinder, & minor front floor patch. Front seat has no rips or wear either. There is one dent at the very front of the passenger side rear fender. New water pump, fitted hoses, tune-up, & battery. It runs excellent & transmission works great, I drive it around my shop to move it but brakes aren't up. Good Ohio title. Superior hospital gurney & attendant seat included. A very rare find in exceptional condition compared to other unrestored coaches i've seen of this early vintage. Has front & rear heat, divider wall with sliding window. Rear suicide doors. Have original wheels, tires, & hubcaps. Nothing missing on the car other than the original curtains. Also included is a parts & service manual that is a wealth of information showing exploded views of the coach, detailed pics & part numbers, and how to read the original Superior build tag. Will sell with or without new wheels & tires. $10,000 as-is or best offer... will take a 1977 - 1996 landau hearse on trade plus cash difference. Located in Bucyrus, Ohio. If you have any questions or need more info just ask please.
