1976 Eldo shop and convertible top manuals

I presume you figured out the convertible info was in the body manual?

There was also a good write up in self starter about 6 years ago on these tops.  I had a copy in my glove box but it was from an ink jet printer and it got wet.   One of the things it covered was how you could manually operate the top if something went wrong with the motor.  Always figured that would be good info to keep with the car just in case. 

Dont forget to be sure there is noting on the upper deck in the trunk if you put the top down and to leave the latches in the open position when you put the top down.    Stuff on the upper deck can break the back window and if you flip the latches back closed after you un latch them the levers will catch and break as the mechanism drops down behind the seat.
