1930 Cadillac V16 Hood Removal

I plan to start the engine (after long standing) by removing the hood for easy access to both sides.  How is the hood hinge removed?

You loose the two screws front and aft and take the hood off , you will not get the two lower side panels off
when the hood id in place. The rods are pre bend and a pain to get out.
 So take it off completely.  Johan  ( 4 strong men will ease the job)
