What is the finish on the AA25 Stromberg carburetor

John Washburn CLC 1067 Sadly deceased.

I believe the AA25 as the later Stromberg's had the zinc plating (a gold color). Eastwood sells a gold paint that is a close match and if you let it dry for a week or two it lasts for a considerable amount of time.

To get it replanted is problematic since you have to make sure you only plate the outside and not the inside or the area where the accelerator linkage goes thru.
