I wondering if someone can send/post pictures of what bracket is missing from both the passenger and driver side brackets pictured.  I am assuming there must be some bracket that attaches to the two holes so the bracket can be mounted to the floorboard?

Thanks in advance for any help :]

I think the brackets you need are still factory welded to the floor pan of the donor car. Leaving them in the car is a common mistake. Is that car gone?
They may be the same as other GM cars of the era. Maybe even Chevys.

Hello Bob,
Thanks for the information.  I was afraid that they were part of the floorboard :]. The car is gone.  Oh well....I guess I will just fabricate some.

Thanks again,
Frank

The bucket seats have special floor brackets that are spot welded to the floor board. The center console also has it's own brackets spot welded to the floor board over the driveshaft hump.  In my side parts business I've sold 4 or 5 sets over the last 17 years and always take these up with an impact cutting wheel so customer can remount them. When I remove them you can still see the original threaded mounting holes for the bench seats so assume bodies were assembled at the Fischer Body Fleetwood Plant and maybe the brackets were added at the Clark Street Assembly Plant as bucket seats were being installed as such optioned cars.

You can see the brackets on the 63/64 Cadillac Site at starting at this link:
