I have an 84 Eldorado H&E Conversion convertible.
The top was in bad shape.
Installed new pump & cylinders.
Am ready to put the new top & liner.
BUT, I can't find the weatherstrip that goes onto the front bow (where it contacts the top window frame)
It's soft rubber 52" long about 2-1/2" wide and 3/16" thick and has an end wedge attached on both side.
I've spent hours searching to no avail.
Any help would be appreciated.

I have owned an 84 and  an 85 Eldorado convertible.   One I sold with 23,000 miles in 2007, and one I just sold with 215,000 miles.  That front bow seal worked well on both cars, even after 3 1/2 decades with the one I just sold.  Minor latching adjustments can make a difference if there's some rain leaks at the corners.  ALso, "irrigating" the rubber seal can help its waterproofing capabilities.  To sum up, I am suggesting that because the seal is not exposed to much weather, it may likely work just fine with your new top.   Happy day,   James

Yes, it looks like that's what I'll have to do.

No one - even custom top 'specialists' can/will help.

Tony--- I have used lithium grease on that seal to good effect.  Of course the top of the windshield frame will accumulate dirt, but, for the most part, one does not put his hands on top of the wind shield.  Tell us how it all works out... sounds as if you're installing the top.  I absolutely loved these cars, and even went so far as to convert the 4100 motor to a small block 265 Olds engine.     Happ[y day,  James
