The outside "scoop" is present as is the inside portion but there needs to be something to connect the two. Does anyone have a photo of what I should be looking for here?

The base frame and mounting bolts are missing.  The base frame is pot metal and fragile.  I have an extra, but it is broken.  It may be possible to make it with steel or brass.  More info contact brad@ipsengarage.com

Thanks You kindly for the excellent photos.
The solution will likely be to fabri-cobble something more practical.
