Left here at 0700 in the rain, spin dry cycle up route 3 north, then a sunny, pleasantly warm day at
Larz Anderson Automobile Museum in Brighton MA. This is their 'opening day' for Lawn Events and as always
it's "CADILLAC DAY". Shout out to the New England Region Cadillac & LaSalle club for annually running this
super fun event! MOBBED with cool Caddy's from ancient to just off the show room floor and everything in-between. Fun to catch up with old friends and make some new ones, just an absolute BLAST.

Wow, So glad you were able to go. Your Cadillac looks stunning. I guess to fully restore one of these beauties you end up adjusted for inflation and the time value of money investing about what one cost the original owner in 1970 to buy it new to restore it to new once again. In my opinion one could not equal what you have there if you spent the comparable amount on ANY new car for the price today. NOTHING else looks like em, rides like em, smells like em, sounds like em, or gives the sense of pride of ownership like em.

This is a pic of The Ark's first owner, James Hallet. He ordered The Ark from the 'Norwood Automobile Company' now known as "Cadillac Of Norwood". Hallet owned the very famous Boston restaurant "Durgin Park".

No kidding....I always thought that was a chambers store too.  I guess I just assumed everything on rt1 was either boch or chambers!  haha

Ernie Boch is a friend, going WAY back to my music days. Did you ever attend one of his "cars and coffee" events at Boch Exotics? Totally insane cars show up. Mark sorry about this pic too with The Ark in Home Depot Teal. LOL!

I haven't yet, i've gotten a notification for his and for chambers' C&C but the most recent one got cancelled.  I've been meaning to get to more of them with the Jag and/or now the 69 if I can get it road-worthy in time.

Fun for us but not cost effective for them. Extraordinary work needed to move the inventory to make room
for us the day before, great expenses that day with pro DJ's, coffee etc. Too bad, they were such fun.
