I purchased a cruise control 'brain' unit that I want to install in my CDV. Only problem is that I thought I would have enough room to install, but the 63/64 brake booster upgrade takes up all the room on that side of the engine. Therefore, I don't think the unit will fit. Has anyone ever run into this issue? How did you solve it? ( If not, I guess I'll be selling my cruise unit!) Thanks!

You have to use mounting brackets and mabey speedo cables from a 62 and up.

Would you be willing to explain that a little more? What brackets? How would this work? Any info would help. Thank you.

Here are some pictures of the cruise control setup I have on my cars. First one is on a 61 others are of a 62. You will also need the rod that goes to the throttle linkage. I installed the one on the 61. The 62 is factory.553914C9-D80E-4DF9-B107-1793FA4E273D.jpegF02BFF06-4C40-4171-BC38-CCC4B64935EE.jpeg760BE2DD-5417-4D6D-A344-0827D88265AE.jpeg
